Little Kingdoms - Home EP (2011)

For Fans Of: Cap'n Jazz, American Football, Penpal
Genre: Emo, Indie
Website: Bandcamp

Description:
When I first heard Little Kingdoms' Willow EP, I really didn't think much of this band. There really weren't any standout tracks (the ones I had mentioned were honestly alright) that set the band apart from every other rip off of a Mike Kinsella side project out there. However, I was wrong; everything from the production quality to the structure of the songs on this EP are amazing. It's as if this band has turned a complete 180 from where they were 4 years ago (regardless if there are strong similarities to bands like American Football, etc). Although it's only 3 tracks long, I can honestly say Home is Little Kingdoms' best release yet. Support these guys, buy their shit, get it now!

  1. Dude, The Willow EP did NOT suck. Jake and Justin were fifteen when they recorded that EP in the room above the Berger garage. Show some respect for raw talent.
