Description:
The newest release from Pianos Become The Teeth continue to push the band's overall sound in a more refined area. The Lack Long After continues with Pianos' passionate instrumental/post-rock (Explosions in the Sky) sound, layered with dramatic lyrics, yet this time they deal with the passing of the lead singer's father. As with each release. Piano's production quality continues to get better, yet the overall sound of this album is kind of slow until it picks up towards the end. If you haven't already checked out their Saltwater EP (or any of their older stuff), you probably should, since I think it's still their best release yet. The Lack Long After isn't amazing, but it's still worth checking out.
