When I first heard about this new band, the first thing that came to mind was Loma Prieta; but better (I'm sure I'll get criticized for that). Formed from members of the bands Calculator, Lautrec, and Summer Vacation, Ten Thousand Leagues is one of the most chaotic sounding screamo bands that I've come across in a while that actually does the genre justice; they're not another new band that rips off Orchid or Satia. The instrumentation throughout this demo is amazing, with every member taking the genre to its limits without coming off as pretentious. Buy their shit, support these guys, check it out.
